About me and my therapy practice
Is anxiety holding you back at work or in your personal life? Are you struggling with low mood or is low self-worth stopping you from fulfilling your potential? Do you it difficult to maintain healthy relationships? Have you experience loss or grief that you are trying to make sense of? I am a psychotherapist and counsellor offering CBT, Trauma Focused CBT and psychodynamic counselling, online across the UK and in person in Ipswich. I provide compassionate and safe space for you to explore your difficulties.
Whether you would like to address problems you are currently experiencing, make sense of the impact of past experiences or work towards future goals we can work together to find a therapeutic approach that works for you.
I have a specialist interest in maternal and paternal mental health with many years’ experience working with expectant and new parents along with parents at all stages of their parenting journey.
You are not alone if you have found yourself struggling emotionally. As a mother of three, a military spouse and through extensive experience working with parents over the last decade I have developed an approach that is trauma informed, compassionate and solution focused combining my theoretical knowledge and trainings and my own experience of life challenges.
I have and MSc in CBT and Counselling and I am a Registered Member of the BACP and a member of the BACP abiding by their ethical frameworks.
I have experience delivering CBT in NHS talking therapies and IAPT services, as well as working as a counsellor in mental health charities, Suffolk Mind and MumsAid. I have been working with parents in the perinatal period over the last decade.
I have additional specialist training in Birth Trauma and Baby Loss.
