About me and my therapy practice

Hi, I'm Henry,

I'm a trained integrative therapists and couples counsellor.

What I can help with:

I am able to help with (amongst others); depression & anxiety, trauma (including PTSD), addiction, relationship issues, bereavement, work related stress, sexual abuse. I work with both couples and individuals.

If you feel I can help you, we can arrange a free 30 minute consultation to explore your presenting issues. If we both agree it is a good fit, I will tailor my approach to therapy with proven therapeutic techniques to suit your needs, and we will commence work on a weekly basis.

At present I'm able to offer online therapy only.

My background:

My journey to becoming a therapist started later in life, and the transition presented challenges in my marriage, my relationships with family and friends, and most importantly with myself.

Training to become a therapist has been the most rewarding, and meaningful process I have ever embarked on. I am afforded the benefit of extensive life experience that is potentially unique in a therapist - as a man, as a stay-at-home dad, as someone who has lived and experienced many different cultures and working situations, and as an individual who has, at times, struggled with co-dependancy and the corporate world. I understand what it is to feel judged on results rather than who I am, and to feel the intense pressure of 'keeping up with ones colleagues'.

I believe that everyone is capable of living happier, healthier and more fulfilling lives if they can find the courage to look inwards. I understand that it can be daunting to take the first steps, having faced it myself. I am passionate and committed to helping people take this journey in a safe, understanding, and supportive environment.

My first session

I offer a free 40 minute introductory session where we can explore the presenting issues.

Thereafter my fees are as follows:

Couples: £80 per session

Individuals: £60 per session

What I can help with

Abuse, ADD / ADHD, Addictions, Anxiety, Bereavement, Depression, Health related issues, Loss, Mood disorder, Post-traumatic stress, Trauma

Types of therapy

Behavioural, Brief therapy, CBT, Cognitive, Creative therapy, Existential, Gestalt, Humanistic, Integrative, Interpersonal, Jungian, Person centred, Play therapy, Psychoanalytic, Psychodynamic, Relational, Solution focused brief therapy, Transactional analysis, Transpersonal
