Practice description
Psychotherapeutic counselling, with a deep commitment to helping each individual find their unique path to healing and growth.
As an integrative therapist I draw on a rich blend of theory, from traditional psychodynamic enquiry, looking at how we communicate and relate to others, to Gestalt theory - the essential connection between body and mind, and the importance of being present in the here and now.
I believe that as humans we need to keep creating, to keep moving, and to learn how to attune to our bodies which are constantly providing us with important signals.
There is a way forward for everyone. I am dedicated to working collaboratively with clients to discover what that path looks like for them. My integrative approach recognises that each person is different; I work hard to understand each unique set of experiences, and it is this that can lead to meaningful change and personal empowerment.
I am here to help you to challenge yourself and be honest with yourself.
I also have a specialist interest in working with children and young people, and can help with parenting concerns and burn-out. Sometimes all these things become so intertwined it is difficult to figure out what is going on. I will support you in working through it.
