About me and my therapy practice
Online therapy for men. Integrative psychotherapist & coach.
If you’re reading this, it means you’re thinking about starting therapy – possibly for the first time. Well done for making it here. I know it won’t have been easy. Sadly, most guys don’t make it this far. But you did – and that’s what matters.
I recognise that traditional therapeutic approaches don't feel comfortable for a lot of men. That's why I run a practice tailored specifically to the needs of male clients.
So, why are you here?
You might be functioning on the surface – working, socialising, coping – but perhaps there’s something deeper going on that you don’t fully understand… and maybe haven’t ever spoken to anybody about.
I help men who feel stuck, ashamed, emotionally flat or like they’re drifting further away from themselves. Whether it’s something long-standing or something that’s come up recently – addiction, anger, burnout, relationships, identity, porn use or loss – we'll work together to understand what’s really going on and start building something healthier and more honest
What therapy with me is like:
You won’t need to come in knowing what to say. I specialise in working with men attending therapy for the first time or those struggling to open up. That means you don’t have to explain yourself perfectly. We’ll talk about where you’re at, how you got here and what you’re holding on to – whether it’s guilt, grief, fear or pressure to be a certain way.
My role is to help you connect the dots between your past and your present. To create space for a version of you that feels more whole, grounded and real.
Areas I work with most often:
• Alcohol and drug use
• Unexplored anxiety & depression
• Anger, shame or emotional numbness
• Low self-esteem and people-pleasing
• Relationship difficulties (including with self)
• Identity, body image and masculinity
• Porn use or compulsive behaviours
• Burnout, pressure and career struggles
• Creating connection and openness
Practice description
A bit about me:
I trained as an integrative psychotherapist and coach, meaning I draw from multiple different therapeutic approaches. I work mainly in a person-centred way, so I won’t be the ‘blank canvas’ therapist you might expect. I'll be actively guiding you, encouraging you and challenging you as our relationship develops.
I also founded M-Path (www.m-path.co.uk) in 2019, working with businesses, government, universities and schools to better help men and boys across the UK with their emotional well-being.
Let’s talk
I offer a free 15-minute introductory call. If you’re unsure or have never done therapy before, this is a chance to get a feel for it—no pressure, no commitment.
