About me and my therapy practice
If you’re considering therapy, you might be dealing with anxiety, challenging life events, or stress-related issues. Perhaps your relationships are strained, or you feel stuck and need an impartial ear. As a BACP registered integrative counsellor, I focus on developing meaningful, authentic connections and building trust within our collaborative therapeutic relationship.Practice description
In a warm and respectful environment, you will have the time and space to express yourself openly, feeling genuinely heard and accepted for your uniqueness. We’ll work at your pace to understand your goals for counselling and explore the challenges you face. My aim is to help you recognize that your emotions serve a purpose and that there is a reason behind how you feel.
By sharing your story, I’ll help you rediscover your inner self, explore behavioural patterns, and address the challenging experiences that prevent you from taking charge and living life to the fullest. Together, we can develop coping strategies that lead to positive change and healthier choices.
I understand how hard it can be to bring things into the open and ask for help. No matter what challenges you might be facing, feeling uncertain about where to begin is normal.
With a background in the corporate sector and experience in both higher education and the voluntary sector, I have cultivated a deep empathy and understanding of how past experiences influence the challenges we face today. Recognizing the profound impact that emotional, mental, and physical pain can have on overall well-being, I use this insight to enrich my counselling practice and provide optimal support.

About me and my therapy practice
I am a warm and empathetic qualified and registered BACP counsellor who is interested in listening to your story and providing the support you need.
I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is crucial to the success of therapy, offering the possibility for positive change. This unique relationship comes without judgment or history, valuing you for who you are. In this collaborative space, you will be fully listened to, accepted and supported in your journey towards growth and well-being.
Practice description
I provide a safe and confidential environment where you can find your voice and openly express the thoughts, feelings and emotions you’re encountering. These conversations often reveal significant insights into unhealthy relationship patterns and the messages we tell ourselves, and even bring unconscious details to light, which we can explore together.
I believe we don’t come into the world with these behaviours, rather we internalise them as we navigate through life.
In the safety of our relationship, I will encourage you to explore the many reasons behind your feelings and your responses to them. This includes examining the uncomfortable inner voice that often follows us. By engaging in this process, you'll start to identify the areas where you can make changes, which will help you feel better about yourself and achieve your personal goals.
As an integrative counsellor, I am influenced by various counselling practices, including person-centred, psychodynamic, and mindfulness approaches. I offer a fluid and adaptable approach tailored to your needs, with the therapeutic goals remaining at the heart of our work together.
I support a diverse range of conditions including: anxiety, depression bereavement/loss, relationship issues, navigating life transitions and stress.
If you would like to learn more about my practice, please get in contact. I offer a free 10-15 minute initial phone consultation. This is a great opportunity for us to connect and determine if you feel comfortable working with me.
