About me and my therapy practice

Need to talk? How many of us struggle alone to manage intense emotional states like stress, anxiety or depression? Maybe it's difficult to talk if feelings are linked to family issues, low self-esteem or even significant events like bereavement or loss of career or friendships.

It can be enormously helpful to share what’s going on with someone else, someone who’s trained to look at things differently. Someone who can help you explore and make sense of uncomfortable feelings in a safe and confidential setting.

My clinical qualification as a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist was through a BACP accredited course, and I am registered with the UKCP. My therapeutic approach involves working closely with clients to help them develop greater awareness of past experiences and patterns that may be directing their current decision-making, behaviours and relationships. Ultimately, this can provide the platform for clients to break with the past and achieve the required growth to lead more fulfilling lives.

Practice description

I have three London consultation rooms: Moorgate Therapy in EC2, City of London clinic in EC4 and LAPC clinic in Victoria SW1.

You can request a call-back via the contact form on my website. We can then briefly chat about what has brought you to seek therapy. I will then arrange a 50-minute Initial Consultation so we can explore together and decide the appropriate pathway for you.

Short Term Therapy (10-12 sessions) focuses on ONE particular issue - something like a significant change in your life, a recent loss, difficulties in your relationship or high-pressure work situations. Short Term Therapy involves working with clients to help them develop coping strategies and skills to manage these challenges better.

Open Ended Therapy offers you an extended period to explore and better understand yourself, past and present, and how you operate in the world - your patterns of behaviour and the unconscious drivers that may be directing your life choices.

Our work together is directed at helping you break with these harmful patterns, make healthier choices and, ultimately, enable you to lead a more rewarding life.

Note: I am also registered with the following private health providers: Axa, Vitality Health, WPA and Aviva.

My first session

Your first session will be an Initial Consultation. I will ask you to fill out a short  'Client Information form', which includes key details; name, address, reason for seeking therapy etc. All information is treated as strictly confidential, in line with industry standards.

This Consultation will also enable you to ask any questions and share any concerns that you may have.

This session will enable us to come to an understanding of where you are, what therapy options are suitable and how we could work together moving forward.
