About me and my therapy practice

I provide a safe, confidential and supportive space, where we can work through your feelings and concerns.

We will look into how past events have influenced your current life and relationships as well as finding coping strategies to help you better manage the challenges you face in your own life.

My aim is to listen in a constructive way that will enable me to support you to get a better understanding of your self, your feelings, and your relationships. It is my aim to provide you with some therapeutic tools that can help you feel more positive and confident, to approach your life in a different, more authentic way.

In addition to private practice, I nave worked as a Counsellor in the NHS at a large London surgery and in a number of charities. Before training as a Counsellor, I worked as a commercial lawyer in a large London Law Firm.

I hold a Masters degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy and I am a registered member of BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) and bound by its Ethical Code.

Particular Interests

I have a particular interest in menopause. A woman’s relationship with menopause can be a very difficult journey, no matter what the stage of menopause they are experiencing. I offer a safe place to talk about the symptoms and feelings you are having.

I have also undertaken research in the area of Boarding  School experiences and welcome those who had an institutional education and who may wish to explore the impact this has had on them in later life.

Practice description

I practice from peaceful, comfortable therapy rooms in Putney, 2 minutes from East Putney tube.

My first session

I offer an initial free 15 minute consultation, which can take place over the phone, or on zoom. This is essentially a 'getting to know you session' to ensure there is a good fit between us before diving into the therapeutic process, and doesn’t commit you to continued therapy.
