About me and my therapy practice
Life can be very difficult at times and we are often faced with unexpected challenges and stresses which we are unsure how to overcome. Counselling is a very important tool which enables us to process our thoughts and feelings in order to move forward in life. Sometimes you can feel alone in a situation or misunderstood but it is important to feel validated with your concerns and experience. Seeking support with our own mental health is a strength not a weakness.Talking helps because you matter.
I offer a safe space and calm, empathetic, non judgemental environment, where you are able to explore your true thoughts and feelings with my support.
Practice description
I offer sessions online via Zoom and on the phone to suit your needs.
I believe that each client is unique and important. Each person matters and every situation is valid. Whilst I won't tell you what to do, I will support you to process your thoughts and feelings and help you to find coping mechanisms in order to move forward positively.
My specialist areas are working with anxiety, bereavement and loss, autism, parents of neurodiverse children and those with health needs.
My first session
I offer a 15 minute introductory phone call on booking to briefly discuss your presenting issues, the therapy process and personal goals. We can also decide on the how you would like the session delivered for example online via Zoom or by phone. I can then arrange for contractual paperwork to be completed.
In the first session, it is our opportunity to get to know each other, discuss contractual arrangements and for me to answer any questions that you may have. We can then complete any initial assessments and confirm your therapuetic goals for the therapy process.
