About me and my therapy practice
I offer a safe space where you can discuss the issues that are troubling you and help you to find your own way of dealing with them. Talking can be the first step in helping you to overcome the problems that you face. Walking therapy can provide a sense of freedom that a counselling room is unable to give.
I provide walking therapy in Marple, Stockport and Woodford. Online and telephone counselling also available.
Counselling gave me the tools I needed to deal with the stresses and problems I faced in my daily life. It helped me to find out what was important to me and who I really was deep down. Then, I was able to find ways to express my identity and live more authentically. I want to show you how you can do this too through the therapy process. We all feel a little lost sometimes, don't know what decisions are the best ones for us and let other people have too much control over our emotions. Together, we can confront your issues and find ways to make life more manageable.
I have worked with many people who are having difficulties with many issues including anxiety, depression, bereavement, family issues, stress, feeling sad, and loneliness. Helping them to find the root of their problems and to facilitate them in easing the pain they are going through.
I am trained in Person-Centred Therapy (PCT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Transactional Analysis (TA).
