About me and my therapy practice
My background is in philosophy, linguistics & psychology.
I have a MA in Linguistics, a MSc in Psychology and PGDip in Psychotherapy. I first trained as a Clinical Psychologist in France before retraining as a Counselling Psychologist in the UK.
Through my past experience, and my research, I am a specialist of intellectual giftedness and the issues attached to it.
I have also worked extensively with depressed mothers and their babies.
I am a registered in the UK (MBACP) as well as in France (ADELI). I specialise in existential psychotherapy, but I also work with other modalities.
I offer short and long term therapy.
Practice description
I work existentially and help my clients understand their relationship patterns and how these patterns impact their sense of self, relationships and wellbeing.
I offer a safe, confidential, non-judgemental, warm, caring, respectful and honest space, where you can explore your issues, focus on yourself, consider change, and get new perspectives through dialogue, mutual trust and understanding.
Together we will explore your lived experiences, values, family background, and overall sense of meaning. We will also focus on your relationships with yourself, the world, and others.
Our therapeutic relationship is what will enable real change to take place.
My clients come from all social, cultural and religious backgrounds.
My first session
Our first session will cover an initial assessment, where we will explore your expectations and needs and discuss any questions you may have about the way I work with clients.
This is an opportunity for us to see how we will work together and if I am the right therapist for you. After this, we can commit to time-limited further sessions, if you have a specific issue you want to work on, or longer open-ended work if appropriate.
My fee is £70 for online sessions, £80 for face-to-face sessions, £120 for couples.
Please do get in touch and ask any questions you may have.
