About me and my therapy practice
I became a psychotherapist after a long career in the arts. It was a job that allowed me to see life through other people’s eyes and gave me an inside understanding of the anxieties, depression, traumas and doubts you may be experiencing and that can be so challenging to live with.
As an Integrative therapist, I use strands from various theoretical approaches to give you a bespoke therapy that always puts your needs at the heart of everything. Perhaps there are problematic relationships you're struggling with, or you have complex anxieties, self-doubt and self-criticism? Maybe there have been events, out of your control, that have left deep scars, or you are feeling overwhelmed by the enormity of life in general? Whatever difficulties you are facing, you will find me to be a warm, caring person, who offers a calm, relaxed environment for you to talk about anything that's causing you concern. I will be sensitive and adaptable to your needs, and committed to providing you with the best possible support throughout our time together.
What to expect from therapy.
I offer you unconditional compassion and care for anything you want to bring to therapy. It is a place to have time for yourself and where I will always want to listen and help - however problematic things are. In an inclusive, non-judgemental way, we will explore where your difficult thoughts, feelings and emotions come from and work together to understand how they are affecting you now. Through that understanding we will give you clarity and control to make the changes you need for a positive future.
Please feel free to contact me for more information.
