About me and my therapy practice
You may be carrying trauma in your day-to-day life stemming from your childhood or adulthood, or perhaps you've experienced things in your journey of life that you believed would never happen. The loss of a loved one, a relationship break up, the loss of a job or not feeling happy within yourself. These experiences often act as triggers leading to anxiety, depression, low moods, or eating disorders. You may find yourself at a standstill feeling lost in the pathway of your purpose in life. Be hopeful, you can change who you are and where you are by expressing how you feel in a safe space.
The challenges and choices we all face in our lives are as unique as we are. We all have our paths, problems, opportunities and solutions.
Therapy can help you find the path that is right for you. Counselling gives you the space to explore feelings and situations, without judgement.
Practice description
As an Integrative counsellor, I use a combination of different theories and approaches to help you find the best pathway forward. I believe in the healing power of relationships and strive to create a safe and supportive space for you to explore your struggles.
I offer face-to-face and online therapy sessions. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and receive professional supervision from experienced clinicians.
Before becoming a Therapist, I worked as a support worker with adults and youths with learning disabilities. This experience enabled me to see that the most valuable learning happens when people feel heard and valued. I now bring that non-judgmental attention to my therapeutic work.
“The light at the end of the tunnel is your life, it’s the tunnel that is temporary”
My first session
In the environment I work in, you have full control of the experience. If you're interested in working with me, we'll arrange a convenient time for a 30-minute consultation.
