About me and my therapy practice

Hello, you're probably here because you or a loved one is experiencing some form of emotional discomfort in life. Counselling can be a strong support at such a time.

I have trained in a transpersonal and spiritual branch of psychology called Psychosynthesis. One of the main beliefs of this branch is that there is an emerging authenticity (or inner truth) from the pain/discomfort one feels. As a practitioner, I aim to gently guide clients toward finding this emerging authenticity or inner truth.

My belief is that our life's journey is to find our way back to our authenticity which we were in touch with as children. As we grow, life's experiences can lead us to disconnect from our authenticity, thus causing us to lead a life which at one point may result in a feeling of deep pain or unfulfillment.

I offer a free 15-minute online or phone consultation to potential clients. This allows me a snapshot of your needs from counselling while allowing you an opportunity to glimpse my approach. Once we've mutually agreed to work together, we will meet for weekly 50-minute sessions.

In addition to the list of things I can help with found below, I can also support with:

Inner child work, childhood emotional neglect, and identity issues.

Sometimes, one may simply feel lonely despite being surrounded by others. I am here to listen and provide a safe space where we can explore your thoughts and feelings together.

Practice description

Once I receive your enquiry, I will be in touch with you within 48 hours to arrange a free 15-minute initial consultation. This can be done online (video call), or as a phone call.

From there, we will arrange a weekly 50-minute session time to begin our work together. I only offer weekly sessions as it allows a continuity to our work.

Further details regarding sessions, confidentiality, holidays, and general housekeeping information is included in a Client Agreement form which I send to you once we've agreed to work together.

I look forward to hearing from you, and working with you.

The first 50-minute session is different to the rest as an information gathering session. In this session, I find it useful to get more information about what's brought you to counselling.
