About me and my therapy practice
I am a licensed and fully qualified Humanistic Integrative psychotherapist, registered with the BACP. I provide counselling and psychotherapy services to adults and young individuals at my private practice in Little Aston, Sutton Coldfield. I support individuals and couples, addressing a broad spectrum of concerns, whether they require short-term or long-term therapy.
My professional journey includes previous training in the USA, where I gained extensive experience working with grief and various forms of loss, anxiety and depression. I brought this expertise to the UK in 2006, where I began conducting training sessions and weekend seminars focused on the profound impact of not having someone or somewhere to share one's experiences.
I have also organised seminars, and workshops, and delivered keynote talks on this subject, both in London and within our local community. My passion lies in helping individuals, and I would be delighted if you took the next step and reached out for support.
I help with all types of issues from anxiety and depression to relationship issues and recovery from abuse either from childhood or more recently.

My first session
In your first therapy session with me, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment where our primary goal is to establish a foundation for our therapeutic relationship. Here are some details about what your first session will typically involve:
1. Introduction and Welcome
2. Paperwork and Informed Consent: This information is essential for your file and helps me better understand your unique needs.
3. Discussion of Confidentiality
4. Setting Goals and Expectations
5. Exploring Your Concerns
7. Assessing your Next Steps
8. Providing Support and Hope
9. Scheduling Future Sessions: If you feel comfortable and want to continue with therapy, we will schedule your next session or provide guidance on how to do so.
Overall, the first session is an opportunity for you to get a feel for the therapeutic process and establish a connection with me. You can expect a respectful, non-judgmental, and confidential space where your well-being is our top priority. Together, we will embark on your journey toward personal growth and healing.
