About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I’m Amanda, a Psychotherapist and Counsellor with a focus on the Humanistic and Integrative approach to Therapy.
Within your daily life you may be experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, loss or an overall feeling of overwhelming emotions.
During your counselling sessions, we will build a therapeutic relationship in a safe, empathic, open, supportive and non-judgmental space.
Listening to the place you are in right now, I will help you to recognise your thoughts and feelings and together we can understand and work through the difficulties you are facing.

How Can Counselling Help You:
Counselling and Psychotherapy offers a therapeutic relationship where healing and growth can happen. Emotional challenges are hard to face on your own, I offer a listening ear and a safe space to discuss your emotions, worries and feelings. We all deserve to feel respected and valued and I strive to offer this in all sessions.
Some of the areas I cover with clients include (but are not limited to): relationship issues, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, trauma, attachment issues, grief, health anxiety, chronic pain, Nervous system, ADHD.
My first session
During our first session we will discuss and understand what has brought you to therapy. This session is focused on allowing us to meet one another and for you to gauge if I am the right therapist for you.
It will also enable me to see how I can support you through the therapeutic process. If (for any reason) I am not able to offer support, I will always endeavour to guide you in the right direction, in a confidential, private, and safe manner.
