About me and my therapy practice
Hello, my name is Amy (she/her). I offer in-person sessions in both Hackney and the City, as well as online sessions.
I create a space where clients can be fully heard, explore issues whether related to past or present life experiences and deepen their understanding of those experiences. My practice incorporates a consideration of the social and cultural dynamics and narratives we are influenced by to gain further clarity and potential relief.
The aim is that this will facilitate a greater sense of choice and allow you to build better connections in your relationships with others and with yourself.
I work from an integrative approach which means that I draw on a range of therapeutic thinking and models such as Psychodynamic, Relational, Humanistic, Feminist and Body Psychotherapy. This is dependent on your needs and what you bring up in therapy.
Practice description
I have experience in working with people who have brought many different things to therapy including: low self-esteem; anxiety; domestic abuse; relational trauma; exploring their sexuality; grief; life changes; trauma. I particularly welcome LGBTQ+ clients.
It's important to find the right therapist for you, which is why I always encourage clients to explore their options and see who feels like the best fit.
Fees: my fees range from £70 - £90.
My first session
Our first session together is charged at half the usual fee. It is an opportunity to see what it would be like working together, and whether we are a good fit.
I'm happy to offer a brief call to answer questions you may have.
If you email me and don't receive a response, please check your junk/spam mail.
