About me and my therapy practice

I work with adults on a long or short-term basis for in-person or online sessions supporting people with a wide range of challenges such as loss, self-esteem, identity, neuro-diversity, sexuality, life transitions, stress, coping with depression and/or anxiety and much more.

Being an integrative therapist means I adapt and blend therapeutic modalities to your specific and intersecting needs rather than expecting you to fit into a singular form of therapy. With you at the helm, we co-create a space where you can feel safe enough to explore your therapeutic goal(s) and whatever is on your mind. Throughout the process, and as our work together unfolds, we will check in with how you’re experiencing therapy and focus on building a trusting, collaborative relationship where you feel supported and seen.

An example of this might look like, exploring the past through a psychodynamic lens, where we gently explore if early experiences are impacting your present. It could mean using Internal Family Systems and creativity to get in touch with the different parts of the self and what you can’t put into words. In moments of loss or existential questioning, it may lead us to explore your meaning-making processes within the broader systems we are all a part of. At times, our work may involve practical skills from CBT and DBT, offering tools that can help you navigate daily challenges with greater ease and resilience. And when it feels supportive, we’ll bring in somatic approaches and polyvagal-informed techniques, tuning into the body’s wisdom and fostering a greater sense of presence and balance.

Regardless of the approach we take, my goal is to offer you a therapeutic space where self-discovery, healing, and growth can unfold in ways that are meaningful and lasting.

Practice description

Whether it’s your first time in therapy or you’re returning to it, together we will gently navigate our way to what matters most to you now and what serves your best interests in this next step of your healing and recovery journey.

I aim to offer a warm and authentic space for clients to feel safe within. I believe in working collaboratively with clients to explore what combination of therapy most effectively supports them through their therapeutic goals, learning, tweaking and evolving every session.

Over time, the compassion, fresh perspectives, and deep attentiveness you experience in therapy can become qualities you internalise and more readily extend to yourself, helping you build a life that feels authentic and meaningful.

My educational and professional background combines over a decade of experience in mental health settings, spanning public, private, and nonprofit roles. I hold a BSc(Hons) in Counselling and Therapeutic Studies, an MSc in Gerontology (the science of ageing and lifespan development), and a PGDip in Counselling and Psychotherapy from UEL, and I am a registered member of the BACP. Additionally, I am part of the Therapists and Social Change Network and am in the process of completing the training to register with the Gendered Intelligence Therapist and Counsellors Network.

My first session

If you’re interested in exploring therapy with me, I offer a free 15-minute consultation via Zoom.

This informal meeting allows us to get a sense of each other and explore whether we might be a good fit.

I recommend trying out a few 15-minute consultations with different therapists to get more experience of who and what feels most right for you.

If we decide to continue, we will book an initial session to assess what your goal(s) are and what therapeutic process might work best for you.

I like to continuously reflect with clients about how effective they are finding the work and with your input we will make adjustments to the process as we go along.

Fees for sessions range from £80 to £120, depending on circumstances.
