About me and my therapy practice
Life can be challenging. I fully understand that. I've been through those hard times and now I would like to support others who would like to feel better. Whether your troubles are related to your personal relationships, your family, or maybe your identity, feeling of not fitting in, I want you to know that you don't have to go through this journey alone.
As someone who comes from a diverse background, I am passionate about helping clients from various cultures, languages, neurodiversities, and family histories. I also provide LGBTQIA+ affirmative therapy, which means I respect and value your identity and expression.
I am enthusiastic about understanding and celebrating each person’s uniqueness. This passion comes from my own experience of feeling different. When I made the decision to move to another country, England, I once again found myself feeling distinct. I learned to accept and embrace my uniqueness and use it as a strength. I believe that my personal experience can help me build a strong and trusting relationship with you. I have gained a lot of understanding and connection with people from diverse backgrounds through living in different countries. I can help you deal with cultural biases, stereotypes, and societal pressures that may affect your well-being. My clients who are native English speakers appreciate my unique perspective and insights, which lead to a more comprehensive and holistic counselling approach. My first-hand knowledge motivates me to help others on their unique journeys, e.g. those who feel displaced, struggle with their identity, or face communication barriers.

I can support you to work on discovering what is important and meaningful to you, and how to cope with life’s challenges and transitions. I can help you understand yourself better, how your past experiences and relationships have shaped you, and how you can change the patterns that are not working for you. I believe that you have unique insights and strengths that can lead to positive change. I work with you as an integrative counsellor, and I adapt my approach to suit your needs and preferences. I respect and value your diversity and identity, and I support you to achieve your goals.

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and see if we are a good fit. I charge a discounted fee of £40 for 50 minutes for this session.

You will have a chance to ask any questions you may have and share your expectations and goals for counselling. I will listen to you with empathy, respect, and curiosity, and help you explore your feelings, thoughts, and challenges. You will decide how much you want to share and at what pace you want to go.
