About me and my therapy practice

Are you going through a difficult time? Are you feeling lost? Are you searching for meaning? Would you like to create a more fulfilled life?

When we are lost, confused or overwhelmed by life circumstances we are often disconnected from ourselves. We have lost access to our inner compass and feel caught in a fast spinning wheel with no visible escape route.

We might frantically look for things or people to make us feel better: the latest gadget or fashion article, a bigger house, a different job, more money, the ideal life partner or a time in the future where magically everything will improve. We might resort to unhealthy patterns, addictive behaviours or substances to distract ourselves.

But does this really satisfy our true needs and give us what we really long for? What is driving our behaviour? What is the underlying pain or distress that we are trying to mask and soothe? Is our life style driven by the expectations of others and the pressure of society? Are we caught in patterns that are routed in past events, losses, trauma or wounding from early life experiences? And in this process, have we left ourselves behind?

Getting off the “wheel” starts with turning the focus back onto ourselves.

I invite you to slow down and help you to work out what is going on inside of you, what is causing your suffering and what really matters to you. I encourage you to notice what your true needs and deeply held values are, that you can start living your life in a way that respects your true needs and deeply held values.

I believe that deep down you hold the key to your own wellbeing and with the right support you can access your inner wisdom and move towards healing and wholeness.

Practice description

I work in an integrative way, drawing from a variety of approaches to tailor my work to your needs.

I have a Diploma in Neurosomatic Psychotherapy, which means that I focus on the body and the mind as a source of information and help you understand the connection between body, mind and emotions.

I support you in building up resources to stabilise your nervous system, so that you can ride the waves more easily when “the sea of life” gets stormy.

Let me accompany you on your way, so that you can reconnect with yourself and re-gain access to your inner compass.

My first session

After your initial enquiry we will arrange an initial 15 minute free telephone assessment to find out what you would like help with and I will share with you what I can offer.

During the first session I will create space to listen to you in an empathic and non-judgemental way and we can establish if we are a good fit to continue working together.
