About me and my therapy practice

I offer a friendly and down-to-earth approach to therapy, providing a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space to talk. Through training, I work within the main evidence-based psychotherapies.

Practice description

I offer online sessions through zoom. Sessions are 55 minutes duration

My first session

I would typically begin by introducing myself and explain the therapy process. I would also discuss confidentiality and answer any questions the client may have. I will encourage the client to share their reasons for seeking therapy, their goals, and any concerns they may have.


In the first session we would complete 2 questionnaires and a risk assessment together.

MA in Cognitive Behavioural therapy completed in the Irish College of Humanities and Applied Science, Limerick, Ireland

MA in Sociology (Community, Youth and Social Regeneration) completed in the University of Limerick, Ireland

BA Hons in Public Administration completed in the University of Limerick, Ireland

Gottman level I and II couples counselling.

Accredited member British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP)

Accredited counsellor and psychotherapist with the Association of Professional Counsellors and Psychotherapists in Ireland (APCP)
