About me and my therapy practice
Life can be challenging for us all at times. Whether you feel this is due to certain life transitions or relationship dynamics, this may leave you feeling anxious or depressed, with low self-esteem and motivation. In this case, a confidential, judgement-free space, with someone offering emotional support away from everyday life might be just what you need and deserve. Giving yourself the opportunity to fully process your situation and explore all your thoughts and feelings surrounding the issue, allows you to identify the roots of problems and learn how to resolve them. If change is what you want, counselling is a great start.
I understand there are many reasons for coming to counselling. Perhaps it is a need for change or a struggle in coping with an unexpected change. Whatever the motivation, I offer a warm, safe environment for you to voice any personal concerns. You can expect to be closely listened to and to receive feedback that will be both honest and empathic.
I appreciate how hard it can be to admit to needing help, and you may have been thinking about giving counselling a try for some time now, but taking this step can make a real change in your life. I will endeavour to provide you with a secure and open space, where you can feel comfortable sharing your concerns and any other issues you would like to explore.
Practice description
I use a relational way of addressing your concerns and work with you to find new perspectives and understanding with the current issue at the moment. This includes looking at what has happened to affect your life today in order to gain some fresh meaning and understanding for moving forward. I work in person for short and long term therapy and online if this is preferred.
My first session
I offer a free 15 minute telephone call to discuss what is on your mind just now and discuss availability etc that is suited for both of us. This will include a small assessment which will be followed up in out first session together.

I offer a free 15 minute telephone conversation to discuss in strict confidence what is troubling you at this time. In our initial session we can discuss this further and consider what therapy is best for you and then we can decide together if this feels right for you to move into further sessions on a regular basis.
