Hi, my name is Ben - thank you for viewing my profile. We are all unique individuals and as such my approach will be tailored to your specific needs. About me and my therapy practice
As well as being a Registered Counsellor, I am also a trainer in the following courses:
Safe TALK (Suicide Alertness)
Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE's) Level 1 and Level 2
Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP)
Practice description
Safe TALK is a 3.5 Hour workshop to help participants identify someone at risk of suicide and give them the confidence using a 4 step model to ask someone if they are feeling suicidal and where to signpost them to.
ACE's Level 1 & 2 is to support you / your organisation or group to become more trauma informed. Both are a 3.5 hour workshop. It is recommended that you complete Level 1 before progressing to Level 2, however these can be compressed and delivered as a one day workshop.
WRAP is a 6 to 8 week course (depending on group numbers) that looks at your overall wellbeing and how to support yourself in an informed way that focuses on the things you can do rather than the things you aren't able to do. It is very recovery orientated in its direction.
