Availability
I currently have availability for online sessions, which means you can access therapy from the comfort of your own home or using your mobile phone at a location convenient to you.
About me and my therapy practice
I work with you by offering a warm and easygoing approach. I listen carefully to what you say and then reflect it back to you so you can hear it for yourself. I might ask questions or perhaps ask you to tell me more about something you said. Try not to worry, we will go at your pace. This is because the session is for you to explore your thoughts, feelings and share what is on your mind.
My first session
In the first session you might feel nervous, I will do my best to put you at ease. Each session will be 50 minutes in length. We will spend some time at the beginning talking about things like how long a gap you would like between each session, what happens if you cannot make a session or if I must cancel a session. I will explain what information I might record, how I will keep your information confidential, and what happens if I assess you to be at risk of harm. Sometimes it can be overwhelming in the first session, so I will send this information to you by email.

What to Expect
I work with you by offering a warm and easy-going approach. I listen carefully to what you say and then reflect it back to you so you can hear it for yourself. I might ask questions or perhaps ask you to tell me more about something you said. Try not to worry, we will go at your pace. I will discretely observe your body language and sometimes help you to notice your mannerisms too, as this might help you to understand yourself better.
For an In-Person session, I will ensure you have a clean, private, comfortable space for you to hear your own thoughts. I only request that you ensure you have a similar safe and quiet environment free from distractions for an Online session. This is because the session is for you to explore your thoughts, feelings and share what is on your mind. Ensure you have a fast and reliable internet connection. Your therapy experience will suffer if your sessions are frequently interrupted by connection or computer problems.
