About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I'm Natnalin. As a qualified and experienced counsellor, I work with clients who are going through major life challenges, such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, grief, or transitions and are looking for guidance and support to navigate these challenges effectively.
I also specialise in working with clients from multicultural backgrounds and are dealing with cultural/familial, self-identity and self-esteem issues and who appreciate a counsellor who can understand the complexities of multicultural identities.
Drawing from my own lived experiences and with a deep understanding of the power of empathy and the therapeutic relationship, I'm here to walk along side you through challenges, growth, and self-discovery, drawing on my own journey to enhance your therapeutic experience.
Please get in touch and book a 15 minute discovery call at no cost for a chat to see how I can help.
Practice description
I am an experienced and qualified integrative counsellor dedicated to providing compassionate and effective therapy to individuals seeking support and healing. With a deep understanding of the complexities of the human experience, I am committed to guiding my clients towards transformative growth and empowerment.
I hold a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling from the Counselling and Psychotherapy Training Academy. This comprehensive training has equipped me with a solid foundation in various therapeutic approaches, enabling me to tailor my counselling sessions to meet the unique needs of each individual I work with.
My first session
Whether you prefer in person or online, short or long term - my approach is about collaborating with you on how we can best work together. All counselling sessions are 50 minutes long.
Once you have agreed to work with me as your counsellor, I will email you a the counselling agreement and a short assessment form to get a better understanding of your presenting issues, backgrounds and goals.
Our first session we will be discussing the counselling agreement which covers our boundaries, align on how we can best work together and your preferences for counselling.
Usually around the 6th session, we will have a check-in to see how you are feeling about the counselling sessions, what you need more or less of and what has been helpful for you.
Counselling is not about giving advice or a quick fix, and my goal as a counsellor is to walk along side you and support you through navigating life's challenges. However as the client, you are in charge of the pace of your progress at all times and we can work together to find the best way to approach the issues you are facing.
