About me and my therapy practice
As an integrative therapist, I offer a warm and grounded space where you can feel at ease – a trusting therapeutic relationship is central to my approach.
You may be looking to explore uncertainties about your future, communication in relationships, difficult decisions or transitions, or questions about identity. Together we would look at what’s going on in your life and what you want for yourself – therapy can often strengthen self-awareness, and it’s this knowledge that leads to healing or growth.
I tailor my approach to suit your needs and what feels natural to you. I draw predominantly on the person-centred approach, which focuses on the here and now, and the psychodynamic approach, exploring past experiences to understand how they could be contributing to your current feelings or behaviour.
I have experience across a range of mental health settings, including in a charity for people with suicidal thoughts, delivering trauma-informed therapy for people living with HIV, and as a Health and Wellbeing Coach within the NHS.
I work with people from all walks of life, whatever their age, race, ethnicity, cultural heritage, socioeconomic background, gender identity or sexuality.
Practice description
I see clients face-to-face in Hackney and also offer some online slots. Sessions are weekly for 50 minutes.
Our work together can be short, medium or long-term - depending on your circumstances and hopes for therapy.
I offer some reduced-rate slots for those that would struggle to pay the standard rate. Please get in touch to discuss this option.
My first session
I offer an initial free 15-minute call to explore how we would work together and to see if we’re a good fit. This is also a chance for you to ask any questions about the process, with no expectation or obligation to continue sessions together.
