About me and my therapy practice
If you are here then it’s likely you want to talk – and I will be there to listen. I’m down to earth and pragmatic and offer a safe space, so you can begin to unpack all that you are carrying and make sense of what is causing the anxiety you feel
It might be about difficult relationships or family conflict, work life balance or perhaps the impact of past traumatic experiences. Living with these thoughts or feelings can be a lonely experience. I will be your ally and walk alongside you as you explore your challenges, go through ups and downs, breakthroughs, progress, and success!
I have experience working with a wide range of life-affecting experiences, in particular:
anxiety or self-doubt
low mood or depression
living with past trauma and abuse
issues within relationships and families
navigating transitions and change
teenagers adjusting to adulthood
If any of these resonate with you and you’re tired of ‘putting on a brave face,’ then contact me for a free, no-obligation 30-minute chat to find out more about how I can support you.
Practice description
In my sessions, you will be respected, listened to and supported in a confidential, safe and non-judgemental space. We will move at a pace you feel comfortable with. From our sessions, you will hopefully begin to experience a stronger sense of you true self, your resilience and your own inner wisdom.
I have my own private Practice in central Newbury where I work face to face with both adults and young people. I provide immediate short-term support when life has become overwhelming. Or we can use longer-term work to explore complex issues in more depth and bring about lasting change.
As part of my ongoing personal and professional development I have attended various short training courses focusing on Relationships, Neurodiversity, Self Harm, Anger and Depression and Loss and Bereavement.
With a particular interest in Transactional Analysis I have completed the TA101 qualification and so can further support you if you wish to explore issues of conflict, and how you relate to other people
As well as a private practice I also provide Counselling sessions for young people and adults at a local Charitable Practice in Newbury.
I am a registered Member of the BACP and hold a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.
I am also an EMCC Qualified Life Coach Practitioner, so if it feels right for you we can also bridge the past and present with the future and explore your goals and ambitions
My first session
I offer a free no-obligation 30-minute chat so you can find out more about how I can support you.
If we decide to proceed, sessions are 50 mins either weekly or bi-weekly and the charge is £55.00 per session payable on the day. Concessionary rates are available for clients under 18.
