About me and my therapy practice
I’m an integrative psychotherapist based in Sheffield, offering a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space for you to explore your feelings, experiences, and challenges.
I bring a wealth of experience from working in diverse settings, including higher education, the third sector, and NHS. This has given me insight into the many complex ways life’s challenges can manifest, and how varied and individual the path to a better life can be.
I am experienced in working with students, vulnerable adults, and people with complex mental health needs. I bring experience with issues of loss, meaning and identity, and I have a genuine commitment to getting to know all the different parts of a person and helping work out what they need. In the spirit of human connection, we’ll undoubtedly share laughter and humour along the way too.
Practice description
I offer one-to-one talk therapy. I am a member of Sheffield Therapy Collective, practising from 38 Bank Street, S1.
• In our sessions, you can expect warmth, empathy, and a genuine commitment to your wellbeing.
• I provide a confidential space where you can be yourself, explore difficult emotions, and work toward meaningful change.
• My aim is to create a therapeutic relationship where you feel understood, respected, and empowered.
• I practice integrative psychotherapy, which means I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches to tailor our work together to your unique, individual needs.
• Whether you want short-term, solution-focussed sessions, or longer-term therapy, I will work collaboratively with you, at your pace, to address what matters most to you.
My first session
I offer a free 20 minute phone consultation to talk about what you want from therapy and help you decide if I’m the right therapist for you.
In the first session, I will ask questions to find out about you, what’s brought you to therapy now, and what you hope to gain.
I will also ask you to fill in some short forms, and we can talk about how the therapy might look going forward. After that, sessions will be lead more by you, and open to regular reviews.
Sessions last 50 minutes.
