About me and my therapy practice
Feel stuck? Like you’re going through the motions but something’s off?
Maybe you’ve hit a wall in your relationship. Maybe you keep falling into the same cycles—numbing out, losing your temper, pulling away when things get tough. Or maybe you’ve built a life that looks good on paper but still feel like something’s missing.
Most people don’t talk about this stuff. Instead, they grind through it alone, pushing down what they really feel, hoping it’ll sort itself out.
But here’s the truth: what you ignore doesn’t disappear—it just controls you from the background.
I work with people who are ready to break out of patterns that aren’t serving them. People who don’t want to sit around talking about feelings for the sake of it, but actually want to understand why they react the way they do—and how to change it.
What to Expect
• No fluff. No jargon. Just real conversations that get to the core of what’s keeping you stuck.
• A space where you don’t have to perform, fix, or prove anything—just figure things out on your own terms.
• We will develop individualised strategies to help you move from reactive to proactive, from stuck to clear-headed.
I’m a therapist, but I’m also someone who understands the pressure many people face—the silent expectations, the fear of looking weak, the frustration of feeling misunderstood. If you’re tired of the same cycles and want a different way forward, lets level up together.
This isn’t about fixing you. You’re not broken. It’s about learning how to work with yourself instead of against yourself.
Let’s talk.
I work with a range of people from different cultural backgrounds with diverse issues, including:
· Self-esteem
· Anxiety
· Depression
· Sexuality
· Trauma
· Abuse
· Bereavement
· Loneliness
· Masculinity and men’s issues
· Women’s issues
· Relationship issues
· Grief
I offer both online and in-person sessions. In-person sessions will be held at Argyle House in Exeter.
Practice description
At the heart of my therapeutic approach is Person-Centred Counselling, a method rooted in the belief that each individual has an innate ability to grow, heal, and overcome life's challenges. My role as your counsellor is not to direct or advise but to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can freely express yourself, discover your own answers, and embark on a transformative journey.
In a world that often leaves little room for personal reflection and emotional processing, I offer a confidential, non-judgemental, and open space to fill that void. My therapeutic approach is based on Carl Rogers Person-Centred Therapy, which means that you will be met with respect, and empathy.
Having worked in medical communications for 8 years and been a competitive rower for even longer, I felt a strong pull towards a career that allowed me to directly help others. This decision led me to counselling and martial arts; both of which have been foundational in my leading a life of passion. My goal is to help you to reach greater depths of self-understanding, self-acceptance, and ultimately to aid you in creating a life that you are proud of.
We are all shaped by our experiences – both positive and negative – and I believe that having the opportunity to explore these can help us to uncover the treasures that lie underneath. Through our sessions, we will build resilience and trust in ourselves which we can ultimately use as a springboard to a better life.
