About me and my therapy practice
If you are reading this then my guess is that you are considering counselling and trying to decide which therapist is best for you. Sometimes it is a question of finding the person you click with, and this can take more than one attempt. There is no obligation if you feel you would like to contact me to see if we are a good fit.
I have an informal approach to counselling because I think it is important that you, as the client, feel relaxed and safe enough to talk about whatever is troubling you at present. The sessions are centred around you, and together we work to enable you to better understand yourself.
Although I have an informal style, my practice is underpinned by ethical guidelines and professional standards and the client's wellbeing is paramount. Please feel free to ask for more information in this respect.
I hope you feel able to take the first step on your counselling journey. My own experience of counselling enables me to fully endorse this process.
