Availability
I am available Mondays and Fridays between 10am and 5pm and currently have availability for new clients. I am based in Shire (AB51) and in Aberdeen (AB10).
About me and my therapy practice
I am trained as a person-centred psychotherapist and am currently a lecturer in the Counselling Department at the University of Aberdeen. In addition to teaching, I run a private practice, offering counselling services to clients in both Aberdeen and the surrounding Shire.
I firmly believe in your ability to embrace your self-worth and live more fully through self-understanding and reflection. I am fully committed to offering a confidential service that is welcoming to all backgrounds in a supportive and non-discriminatory manner.
Practice description
With a strong passion for personal growth and self-understanding, I specialize in working with self-esteem, confidence, life purpose, and overall growth, helping you navigate your journey toward self-love and greater enjoyment of life and relationships.
I also work with such experiences as living and adjusting to life with endometriosis, childless by choice, antenatal and postnatal depression and birth trauma.
I believe you have everything it takes to be the authority of your life, but I also acknowledge that there are times when it can be very hard to trust in that. I offer a confidential and safe environment for you to explore any fears or insecurities surrounding your experiences and to find a stronger way forward through facilitative dialogue.
My first session
I offer one-to-one in-person or online sessions for adults aged 18+. My approach is flexible and I work around your requirements for the frequency and number of sessions.
I offer a free 20 min introductory phone call.
