About me and my therapy practice

When do we seek therapy?

We often seek therapy when we feel overwhelmed, depressed, stressed, anxious, stuck, confused, challenged, lonely—ultimately, when we are unhappy. It's as simple as that. And what do we expect from therapy? To stop feeling those heavy emotions, to stop being unhappy.

The good news is, that’s attainable. We can stop being unhappy. But what about happiness? What does it truly mean to be happy?

Therapy is an invitation to define your own “happy” by getting to know yourself. I believe the most important relationship you will ever have is the one you have with yourself. This relationship requires self-awareness, compassion, and acceptance.

For me, happiness is a process. It’s about exploring and accepting yourself, even the unlikable parts, then discovering and redefining your purpose as you walk your path. Therapy can help you do just that.

I view mental health challenges not as fixed labels, but as disruptions along your journey—opportunities for growth. You are not defined by a disorder or a set of symptoms; you are a person with unique strengths and potential.

I am a licensed clinical psychotherapist with over fifteen years of experience, specializing in trauma and complex trauma. I have worked with adolescents, young adults, adults, and older adults, addressing issues such as Mood Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety, Trauma, Substance Use, Personality Disorders, Relationship Problems, and Complicated Grief. In this work, I’ve witnessed profound pain but also incredible resilience and capacity for healing.

I currently run my practice in the UK, where I offer therapy both online and in person. Whether you prefer to meet virtually or face-to-face, I am here to support you in building a strong, inclusive relationship with yourself—one that leads to greater happiness and well-being.

Practice description

My approach is rooted in positive psychology and person-centered therapy, with an emphasis on Focusing. You are the expert of your own life. That means you will guide me through the process—because you are unique. You have your own strengths, talents, ways of thinking, relating, and evolving. Our work will center around understanding that uniqueness and uncovering how you might be unintentionally holding yourself back from happiness.

I will help reflect on patterns that may be sabotaging your potential for joy. And if you’re willing to work, challenge yourself, and stay open, I strongly believe you can define what happiness means for you—and ultimately live it.
