I have a special interest in working with people from complex or atypical family backgrounds that are looking to explore their past and how that might be affecting them in the present day.
You might be wondering why you struggle with putting others first, or why you are unable to advocate for yourself when you need to. Perhaps you are experiencing burnout, looking for a new direction in life or simply need a space to be yourself. Sounds familiar?
I offer a free 15 minute consultation to decide whether we are the right fit.
I work face to face in Central London and online.
Practice description
My approach is relational. This means that the relationship between me and my clients are important and is the foundation on which the work is built on.
It is important to me that you are able to be as honest and open as possible, but I recognise that this does take a bit of time! I will provide a safe space for you to bring your thoughts, feelings, problems and hopes and a space for you to share your story.
My first session
The first few sessions will be spent on exploring your developmental history (i.e. what your childhood was like) and understanding your experience of your family. I work from an attachment lens; so we will explore together what your family and early relationships were like for you as well as what your relationships are like in the present day.
I have extensive experience as a Helpline Volunteer with Cruse Bereavement Care as well as volunteering with a domestic abuse charity in South London.
