About me and my therapy practice
Hello, my name is Elizabeth/Lizzie (She/Her). I am a fully qualified BACP registered integrative therapist, working in person, online and over the phone across the UK and internationally.
My approach is client-led and non-directive. Anything that you choose to bring is what will be explored, at a pace that is both appropriate and effective for your needs. I will listen to your unique story, explore what you want to gain from therapy and tailor my approach to meet you where you are at.
I began my clinical work at Islington Mind whereby I provided integrative counselling. This included working with complex psychological/emotional/mental health problems such as those with borderline personality disorder, schizophrenia and autism.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Counselling at the University of East London, a degree accredited by the BACP.
I also volunteered for two years at The Listening Place, a charity that offers face-to-face support for those who feel life is no longer worth living.
I have a background in yoga teaching with a keen interest in somatic and the mind/body connection. I have a holistic approach alongside using various theory and practice from psychodynamic, existential and person centred therapy.
My counselling training included personal research on making meaning of the challenging experiences following the use of psilocybin and its impact on my counselling journey.
Practice description
Personal therapy can be challenging and revealing, talking about experiences that cause pain, sadness or embarrassment can be difficult. I believe that if you feel listened to without fear of being judged, working in a trusted relationship can encourage real long-lasting change.
We will work collaboratively to identify links, patterns and themes to help you to develop a greater understanding of yourself. My therapeutic approach can be described as integrative, blending a holistic approach with Psychodynamic, Existential, Humanistic theory and practice that best support your needs.
My first session
I offer a free 15-minute introduction session via the telephone to discuss your reasons for seeking therapy. This gives you the opportunity to decide if you would be keen to work together.
If we choose to work together, we would typically arrange to meet weekly online or over the phone at an agreed time for a 50-minute session.
I offer a sliding scale of fees, sessions range between £60-£80.
I offer concessionary rates for students, trainees and those on low income. Please let me know so we can discuss this in the introductory call.

Hello, my name is Elizabeth/Lizzie (She/Her)
I am a fully qualified integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, working in person, online and over the phone across the UK and internationally.
My personal experience with therapy revealed to me the profound benefits of feeling truly seen, heard, and understood, and how transformative that can be. I aim to provide this same support to you and would be honoured to be a part of your journey.
I began my clinical work at Islington Mind, providing tailored, integrative face-to-face counselling. This involved working with complex psychological, emotional and mental health issues including personality disorders, schizophrenia and autism. Other areas that were often explored involved identity and LGBTQIA+ related concerns.
I have experience as an associate counsellor at St. Mary's Hospital, offering in person therapy for the NHS staff working in the sexual health clinic which offers immediate testing, treatment and advice for STI’s.
Prior to my counselling and psychotherapy practice, I volunteered at The Listening Place, a charity that offers face-to-face support for those who feel life is no longer worth living.
