About me and my therapy practice
You’ve made the important decision to pursue therapy, and now you face the challenge of finding the right therapist.
Everyone has the potential for change and growth, and therapy is a journey of self-discovery. My goal is to help you access your inner strengths and resources.
With extensive training in psychodynamic therapy, I have worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds facing a variety of emotional challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and identity struggles, among others. I am dedicated to providing culturally sensitive and inclusive care and strive to create a welcoming and affirming environment for all my clients.
Practice description
In my therapeutic approach, I emphasise the importance of creating a secure and accepting environment where you can express yourself freely without fear of judgment. By delving into your unconscious thoughts and emotions, I believe we can uncover valuable insights into the underlying factors driving your current behaviour patterns. This understanding can help us identify unresolved conflicts or traumas affecting your well-being.
During our sessions, we will collaborate to identify your goals and address your unique needs.
My ultimate aim is to facilitate personal growth and positive change in your life. By exploring the depths of your unconscious mind, we can reveal the root causes of any issues you may face and work towards resolving them. Together, we can embark on a therapeutic journey that empowers you to overcome obstacles, develop healthier coping mechanisms, and ultimately lead a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
My first session
In our first session, we will focus on several key objectives:
- Establish a rapport to build a trusting and comfortable relationship.
- Gather relevant information to understand your background and current situation.
- Discuss the reasons that have brought you to therapy.
- Explore your emotions and thoughts to gain deeper insights.
- Setting goals collaboratively to guide our therapeutic journey.
- Discuss the therapeutic process to ensure you know what to expect.
