About me and my therapy practice
As a dedicated psychotherapist, I am deeply passionate about the mind-body connection and the profound ways our nervous system development influences our lives. My practice focuses on understanding how early life experiences shape our perceptions of ourselves and the world around us, which is essential for healing and growth.
I specialise in working with young people and adults. I am committed to helping you navigate life experiences with resilience and compassion. My approach is integrative, drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities to tailor our work to your individual needs.
Through our sessions, we will explore the connections between your thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations, fostering a deeper understanding of your inner world. This holistic perspective allows us to address not only the psychological aspects of your concerns but also the physical manifestations of stress and trauma.
I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard and supported as we work together towards greater self-awareness and emotional well-being. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, challenges related to parenting or conceiving, or the complexities of family life, I am here to support you on your journey towards healing and personal growth
Practice description
My practice is situated in The Old Town Hall in Bromley, where I provide weekly or fortnightly sessions for both adults and young people (13-18 yrs old).
I am dedicated to ongoing professional development and consistently engage in training to ensure I remain current and well-informed in my field. I have recently completed CPD training in:
- Working with Dissociative Disorders in Clinical Practice
- Using Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) for Trauma
- Treating trauma with Internal Family Systems
- ADHD, Autism, and Trauma.
- Understanding the Nervous System
I am also trained in meditation, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and facilitating group therapy sessions.
My first session
What to expect from your first session
Our first session together will be an assessment session to gather information about yourself and discuss confidentiality within the therapy room. I strongly believe in the therapeutic relationship and understand when connections are not made, so after our first session or down the line you decide that the connection has not been formed, I understand if you decide to move onto another therapist.
It is really important to me that you feel safe in our sessions together so that we can explore what is going on for you.
I am currently offering online and face-to-face sessions; both options are safe and compassionate spaces.
The duration of our work together can be adapted based on your individual needs—whether it's on a long, medium, or short-term basis.
I offer a free 15 minute consultation to answer any questions you may have.
