About me and my therapy practice
Life can feel confusing, lonely, and overwhelming.
You might find yourself asking: Who am I? Where do I belong? What’s the point? These are not just questions—they’re experiences that can feel isolating and impossible to navigate alone. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, shame, grief, identity, or simply a sense of not fitting in, you don’t have to face it by yourself. I’m here to help you make sense of your feelings and guide you through them with care and empathy.
My approach is trauma-informed, and I specialise in supporting people with issues surrounding attachment, shame, and identity. Whether it’s questions around sexual orientation, gender, or the weight of loss—from the end of a relationship, the passing of a loved one, or losing a sense of yourself—I understand how deeply these experiences can affect your life.
This is an inclusive space. I offer LGBTQIA+/GSRD-affirming therapy, kink-positive and sex-positive counselling, and have extensive experience working with people exploring polyamory, neurodiversity, or navigating the complexities of sex work. I also provide a compassionate ear to those who may feel isolated or displaced, especially foreign nationals seeking belonging in new environments.
Practice description
Counselling is more than just a "safe space"; it is a journey we embark on together, built on trust, respect, and a shared commitment to your well-being.
As a trauma-informed therapist, my priority is to create an environment where you feel empowered to explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.
I recognise that true safety is something we cultivate together in each session, and I am dedicated to being transparent and open throughout our work. You are in control of what we discuss, guiding our sessions in a way that feels right for you.
I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centred, and Existential modalities. This eclectic foundation allows us to explore your thoughts, challenge unhelpful patterns, and enhance your self-awareness and compassion. My aim is to create a personalised approach that addresses your unique needs, equipping you with the tools to navigate life’s complexities.
Main Training & Qualifications:
- Interpersonal Psychotherapy (2024) - IPT Institute, New York
- MSc Gender & Sexuality Postgrad Studies (23/24) - Birkbeck University
- BSc (Hons) Counselling (BACP-Accredited)—University of East London
- Introduction to Psychology - YALE University
My first session
As an affirmative counsellor, I celebrate you for who you are. I am here to support your journey without judgment, affirming your strengths, values, and identity. Together, we will address the challenges you face in a world that may not always understand or accept you. My commitment is to walk alongside you, helping you to not just endure but truly thrive on your own terms.
Your story is unique, and so are your needs. Therapy with me is a collaborative and open dialogue, where you are seen and accepted without judgement. I want to understand what it’s like to walk in your shoes, and together, we’ll create a path towards healing and growth.
