I am a Play Therapist and a Filial Therapist. I work with young children and family through the medium of play. I work in a non- directive way where the child experiences a safe and non- judgemental space to express how they feel. I may do focused work when the child may be struggling with a certain situation or feeling. I endeavour to work with families with a holistic view of their needs. 

I am hold I have a pleasant and approachable manner. I work with the family and not the child alone as children are dependent on their adults for everything. I believe that the wellbeing of the child is of utmost priority in my therapy practice, yet the involvement of the caregivers in the therapy process brings positive results. I engage with caregivers through review meetings and support them in the best possible way to get collateral support for the child's wellbeing.  

I offer thirty minutes of free telephone consultation before I meet with the parents. The first session is only with parents where I am able to understand the family's life situation and the emotional needs of the child/ children. Based on this initial assessment the interventions are discussed and times scheduled.
