Availability
My availability is open and flexible, however, this depends on which method of therapy you’re interested in.
Mondays and Thursdays, I work online between 10am and 6pm. Tuesdays, I work in Peckham throughout the afternoon. Wednesdays, I work online in the morning and then in Liverpool Street in the afternoon.
I currently do not see clients on Fridays, the weekends or evenings (6pm onwards).
If my proposed availability doesn’t quite work with your schedule, please still reach out to me as we may be able to find a solution or alternative time.
Please note, I only work on a weekly frequency. I work fortnightly and monthly after significant work i.e., at least 12-24 months of weekly therapy. This is to allow us a sufficient period of time where we have been able to establish our relationship and both have an understanding of your therapeutic needs.
About me and my therapy practice
Hello! I am based online and in South and East London - I provide LGBTQ+ therapy and counselling for those who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, non-binary, queer, questioning, polyamorous, kink, ace etc. I offer short or long term individual therapy for adults and my work is queer positive, sex affirming, collaborative and fluid.
I work primarily with individuals within the LGBTQ+ community, however, this is not exclusively. My approach to therapeutic work is within an open and non judgemental mindset. You may be experiencing a wide range of challenges within your experiences and therapy may feel like an option for you to explore these more.
I am trained within an integrative approach to counselling and psychotherapy. This means I work within different modalities of therapeutic thinking. My theoretical and practical approaches include humanistic, psychodynamic, GSRD, relational, phenomenological, existential and pluralistic.
Essentially, in a jargon free description, I focus on you and the experiences you’ve had that have brought you to therapy. Depending on what you wish to talk about, we may explore your earlier childhood experiences, what’s happening now for you and your goals and aspirations. My approach encapsulates the essence of your here and now experiences which may involve your past, your present and your future self.
My approach to therapy is fundamentally and ethically built upon anti oppression, reflexivity, safety and trust. Therapy involves change, not conversion. Intersectionality, privilege, discrimination and difference are experiences I’m committed to exploring with you safely.
