About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I’m Hannah, a trauma-informed integrative counsellor based in central Canterbury. I’m passionate about supporting individuals on their journey to healing and self-discovery. I offer face-to-face sessions at my light and spacious therapy practice, as well as online sessions via Google Meet and Doxy.me. Feel free to reach out to learn how I can help you.
I specialise in supporting individuals facing a variety of life challenges, including depression, trauma, abuse, anxiety, low self-esteem, estrangement, relationship difficulties, neurodivergent challenges (such as ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, and autism), cancer, PTSD and CPTSD, baby loss, narcissistic and dysfunctional family dynamics, menopause, perimenopause, and issues related to gender identity and sexuality.
Having personally received a diagnosis of ADHD and dyslexia later in life, I understand how feeling different can impact your childhood and adolescence, and the effect it can have on your self-esteem and the value you place on yourself. I am passionate about providing a compassionate, neurodivergent-affirmative and LGBTQ+ inclusive therapy space where you can safely express your thoughts, feelings, and emotions without fear of judgment.
Clients often share that working with me helps them feel grounded, supported, and safe to explore deep emotions and past traumas. They appreciate my down-to-earth approach and feel our sessions equip them with practical tools for long-term personal growth and emotional resilience.
My approach is collaborative; I journey alongside you, facilitating the exploration of your experiences to deepen self-awareness and uncover your inner strengths. This process can have a profound impact on your ability to confront life’s challenges and improve the relationships you have with yourself and those around you. I firmly believe that learning to trust, accept and value ourselves for who we are, allows us to develop and change to be the best version of ourselves.
Practice description
My approach as an Integrative Counsellor
Whether you've been struggling for a long time or are facing a recent challenge, my therapy practice offers you a safe space to talk openly and honestly about whatever you need.
As an integrative counsellor, I’m trained in more than one therapeutic modality. Guided by the idea that no single approach works best for everyone, my work is influenced by a blend of person-centred therapy, transactional analysis, trauma-informed therapy, and relational therapy.
I believe in combining real-world wisdom with cutting-edge therapeutic techniques to support you in building a more fulfilling and enjoyable life. Guided by the principles of integrity, respect, and empathy, I listen intently to support you in exploring your emotions and deeply connecting with your feelings.
My goal is to assist you in uncovering answers from within, empowering you to gain a better understanding of yourself and move forward with confidence.
I offer face-to-face from a light and spacious therapy practice in central Canterbury, Kent. Online counselling sessions are also available via Doxy.me and Google Meet.
How to get in touch

There's no pressure or obligation to commit to therapy – you’re free to decide how you'd like to proceed.
If you're interested in working with me, please reach out. I aim to respond to your inquiry within 48 hours (or on Monday if you contact me over the weekend). Don't forget to check your spam folder to ensure you receive my response.
