About me and my therapy practice
Do you ever feel like you are not good enough? Are you stuck in a rut? Do you get overwhelmed easily and feel the weight of others' expectations? Are you self-critical or a people pleaser? These are just some of the things we can work on together. Ultimately I will work with you where you are and what you need.
I'm Jacqui and I am a qualified, Integrative therapist. As a member of the BACP, I adhere to their ethical framework and one of my goals is to enable you to feel safe enough to explore your problems in a way that feels right for you. I offer a warm, confidential space for you to heal and work towards living a more fulfilling life on your terms.
Practice description
My person-centred core training means that I believe you are the expert in your life and through being truly seen and heard you can lead the way in your therapy. You can develop self-insight and take steps towards becoming the person you want to be. I work integratively so after getting to know you and your specific needs I use various other therapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness.
I work with adults and have a special interest and professional and personal experience in working with neurodivergence. Many of my clients are women who have been late diagnosed, self-identify, or are simply curious about ADHD. I also work with women in perimenopause/menopause and the physical and psychological struggles this can bring. My experience also covers working with loss, grief, depression, low self-esteem, anxiety and relationship problems.
My first session
I offer a free initial fifteen-minute phone consultation so that you can decide whether working with me will be the right fit for you. Alternatively, you can book your first session and we can take it from there.
