About me and my therapy practice
Having worked within the NHS for over 20 years supporting all aspects of health and well being, including anxiety, trauma, depression and postnatal depression, I am well positioned to help with an extensive range of concerns. I work with men, women and young adults.
I will provide you with a warm, safe, non-judgemental space to share your personal issues. If you are looking to make some meaningful changes to your life, counselling can have a significantly positive impact on your happiness, well being and sense of self.
Practice description
I am a friendly, empathetic counsellor experienced in working with clients facing a wide range of challenges. I hold a diploma in Gestalt therapy, and I will draw on a number of therapeutic approaches to meet your individual needs. Together we will work at your own pace, to raise your awareness about your patterns of behaviour, thoughts and feelings that may be holding you back from reaching your full potential in life.
My first session
I offer a complimentary 30 minute introductory session online. This will allow us to explore what your needs are, sometimes this can be emotionally charging, as it may be the first time you have felt attentively listened to. Following this, we can arranged a time to meet online or in person. Our counselling session will last 50 minutes and ideally we will meet at the same time each week. I offer long term or short term therapy, depending on your need.
