I currently have a last few slots available for in-person, online and email counselling at various times in the day on Mondays and Fridays and on fortnightly on a Tuesday at 630pm.
About me and my therapy practice
I offer short or long term talking therapy in a relaxed, informal setting. I work in-person at Feel Good Balham, online or walk and talk sessions on Tooting Common.
I can also offer text or email therapy and I also offer 30, 60 or 90 minute Single Session Therapy (which involves some work from you beforehand) and I can offer follow up sessions if need be afterwards.
Please get in touch if you have any questions.
Practice description
I offer talking therapy in a confidential, trusting but warm and welcoming environment in which you have a safe space to explore your issues, with no judgment, in order to aid your personal growth and bring about change.
I am an integrative therapist which means I am able to approach each individual with different tools and with what might be useful to you, your individual situation and your personality. Hopefully, I can help you understand feelings, patterns of behavior and problems in the present that might come from the past, and help empower you to heal, find peace and find your authentic self.
Some of the areas I specialise in are (but not limited to) the following:
The road to motherhood is not an easy journey for everyone, and I’m here to offer support to those struggling from infertility or secondary infertility. Trying for a baby can be an incredibly lonely, upsetting, confusing and frustrating time, so having a safe space to talk through what is going on, and can be incredibly cathartic and helpful.
I am passionate about helping women as they navigate Motherhood; from early pregnancy to starting maternity leave, through the return to work - or not - up through the school years and beyond. There are so many anxieties to face once you get that positive result and seeing someone to talk them through can help you feel mentally robust to deal with the many challenges of pregnancy, birth and motherhood & the change in identity that comes with them.
I also work with women who are going through peri/menopause. This huge change in life can result in a loss of confidence, overwhelm, anxiety and depression and with symptoms that can sometimes be debilitating, it can harm your sense of self and worth and affect your home life, relationships or career.
With a background in Television/media, I have extensive experience with careers counselling and coaching and can help who those are facing issues at work, are feeling stuck, who are going through redundancy and so on.
My first session
It’s really important you find the right therapist for you to work with, so with that in mind, I can offer a free 15 minute phone call or online session or a 50 minute trial session at a reduced fee (in case you want to try out a few therapists before committing). This should give you a good idea of what it might be like to work with me with no pressure to continue.
