About me and my therapy practice

Choosing a counsellor can feel daunting, but you don’t have to do it alone. I invite you to get in touch for a free 20-minute phone chat, where we can talk about what you’re going through and the support you're looking for. Together, we'll explore how I can help you take this important next step.

There are many reasons why people turn to counselling, and it’s okay to seek support no matter where you’re at. You might be feeling isolated, disconnected, or struggling to find meaningful connections. Perhaps you're longing for change but aren’t sure where to begin. Or maybe you're feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or low, and would like support in understanding your feelings and making sense of what you're experiencing. Whatever you're facing, counselling offers a safe space to explore your feelings and find clarity. Sometimes, it's hard to put into words what’s bothering you, but having someone to listen and help you make sense of your feelings can be a powerful first step toward clarity and healing. Whatever you're facing, you don’t have to go through it alone.

I aim to provide you with a confidential, supportive space where you can freely explore your thoughts and feelings. My focus is to create an environment where you feel comfortable expressing yourself, without fear of judgment. Here, you’ll be listened to with empathy, respect, and understanding — and you can speak openly, knowing that your voice matters.

Counselling can offer valuable insights and a fresh perspective. It helps you understand yourself and others better, make sense of difficult situations, and move toward acceptance, emotional freedom, and healthy psychological growth.

Practice description

As a qualified integrative counsellor, I draw on a range of approaches, including Person-Centred, Transactional Analysis, and Gestalt therapies. This allows me to tailor my approach to suit your unique needs, as I believe you are an individual with your own experiences and perspective. My aim is to understand you from your point of view, as you share your thoughts and feelings with me.

The counselling relationship is unique and different from any other you may have. I’ll be alongside you, working at your pace and supporting whatever you choose to bring to our sessions. Throughout our time together, I will endeavour to meet you with honesty, openness, and respect.

My first session

I can offer you a free 20 minute telephone consultation. This is an opportunity for us to get to know each other a little, and an opportunity for you to ask questions about how we may work together and what to expect.

If you are new to counselling or looking for a new therapist, this session is a chance for you to get a feel for me, and to see if I am the right therapist for you.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

About me and my therapy practice

Choosing a counsellor can feel daunting, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. I invite you to reach out for a free 20-minute telephone chat, where we can discuss your needs and the support you're looking for. Together, we’ll explore how I can help you take this important next step on your journey.

There are many reasons why people seek counselling. Perhaps you are feeling lonely or disconnected from the people around you? Perhaps you would like to talk to someone about making changes in your life? Maybe you are feeling stuck, anxious or depressed, and would like a little extra support to help you through a difficult time? Perhaps you can't quite put your finger on what is wrong, and would like somewhere to express yourself and make sense of your thoughts and feelings?

Whatever brings you to counselling, I will endeavour to offer you a confidential and safe space, where you can talk and explore all of your thoughts and feelings, and express them freely without judgement or opinion.

Counselling can be useful in helping you to gain insight and a fresh perspective. It can help you to gain understanding about yourself and others, or help to make sense of a problematic situation. It can help you move towards acceptance, emotional freedom and healthy psychological growth.

A counselling relationship is unique and unlike any other relationship in your life. I will be right beside you and work at your pace, with whatever you wish to bring to our sessions, and I will endeavour to meet you with honesty, openness, respect and unconditional positive regard.
