Availability

I currently have availability on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and (Thursday - online only).

The counselling sessions are 50 minutes in length and usually weekly.

Initial assessment / first session £50.

Thereafter, £50 per 50 minute session.

Couples therapy - £70 per session (75 minute session)

Payment can be made by cash, cheque or BACS.

About me and my therapy practice

I am a fully qualified (MSc) and accredited (UKCP) Integrative Psychotherapist / Counsellor offering therapy sessions near Eastwood, Nottinghamshire. I have also completed a Diploma in Couples Therapy.

I am committed to providing counselling and psychotherapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgmental environment. 

We will work together at a pace that feels comfortable for you, to explore your feelings, thoughts, behaviours and patterns, whilst at the same time trying to understand how these processes may have developed. This can be a daunting process, but with support, you will be given time and space to explore and reflect on these experiences and relate them to your current way of being in the world.

I draw from a range of counselling and psychotherapy approaches to provide the right support for you. I am able to provide both short term counselling, where you may have a specific problem which you wish to look at or longer-term therapy, where deeper more complex issues can be explored. Both short and long-term work will have the aim of enabling you to enhance your life and to live it more fully.

I am an experienced counsellor / psychotherapist, helping clients who have difficulties with issues.

Practice description

I am able to offer a free telephone call prior to arranging an assessment appointment if that would suit you, where we can discuss what your difficulties or issues are and what you are hoping for from counselling / psychotherapy. 

If I am unable to answer your call, it maybe because I am working, but please leave a message, send a text or a brief email and I will get back to you as soon as possible. 

I won’t tell you how many sessions I think you might need, this is something that we will discuss together and the decision will always rest with you. I will build regular reviews into our work to make sure that you feel ok with how the therapy is going.

My first session

Once you have made the decision to explore the possibilities of therapy and made contact, I will ask you to attend for an initial face to face assessment. This will offer you the opportunity to ask any questions and decide if I am the right therapist for you. It will also give me an opportunity to find out more about you and what your aims and goals are in therapy.

There is no obligation to continue after this initial session.

How many sessions you will need is unique to each individual, and therefore the number of sessions required will vary. Whether we do short-term or long-term therapy, I will build regular reviews into the work to ensure that you are getting what you need. We would discuss this is in the initial assessment session.
