My practice hours are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings with sessions starting from 5:00pm and the last at 8:00pm. I am however available throughout the week to respond to enquiries and conduct introductory phone calls to answer any questions you may have and see if I'm able to offer what you're looking for.
I offer both face to face and online sessions depending on your needs.
About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I'm Charlotte! As a qualified person-centred counsellor, I’m here to offer you a safe, non-judgemental environment from which to explore your thoughts and feelings in the hope that we can unpick and work through them together. I have evening sessions and currently have a short waitlist.
I have experience with a range of issues including feeling generally low and lacking enthusiasm for life, depression, anxiety and bereavement, and have a particular interest in disordered eating.
I will follow your lead and support you through the exploration of your issues, standing alongside you through what I know can be a difficult journey. I understand that it can be hard to find clarity in your thoughts using words alone, which is why, where appropriate, I offer creative and exploratory techniques such as sand tray therapy to help you communicate your inner experience and what you're feeling.
I believe the success of counselling relies heavily upon the relationship between counsellor and client, as such, I want you to know I’m a warm, friendly and approachable counsellor who works to empathise and understand what you’re going through and help you feel understood.
Practice description
My practice is based at the Regus Building at Clifton Moor, York. From here I can offer both face to face and online sessions.
My first session
It’s important that your counsellor is right for you, which is why I offer a free, no obligation 20 minute call to help you make that decision. Simply get in touch to arrange your initial call and from there you can decide whether or not it's something you wish to take forward.
