About me and my therapy practice
As an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, I combine various therapeutic approaches to tailor each session according to the unique needs of my clients. My work is grounded in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where individuals can explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours freely.
My approach integrates elements from several modalities, including:
• Psychodynamic and Humanistic Therapies: By drawing from these, I focus on exploring past experiences and emotions, while also encouraging growth and self-actualization.
• Internal Family Systems (IFS): I use this to help clients connect with different parts of themselves, fostering self-compassion and deeper self-understanding. It’s a gentle method that allows individuals to heal emotional wounds by getting to know the different "parts" of their personality.
• EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing): This is particularly helpful for clients dealing with trauma, enabling them to process and integrate difficult memories.
• Clinical Hypnotherapy: I offer hypnotherapy to help clients access their subconscious mind, fostering positive change and deeper healing in areas such as anxiety and self-esteem.

My first session
In our first supervision session, I aim to establish a supportive and reflective space where you can feel comfortable to explore your professional needs and goals. Here’s what you can expect:
- We’ll spend time discussing your background, professional experience, and what you are looking for in supervision. This helps me understand your needs and ensures we develop a collaborative relationship.
• Whether you're seeking supervision for personal growth, enhancing therapeutic effectiveness, or managing complex cases, we will clarify your expectations and how I can best support you.
- Establishing Rapport: Just like in therapy, the relationship in supervision is key. We’ll take time to ensure there is a good fit between us and that you feel confident moving forward.
• We’ll go over session structure, frequency, confidentiality, and any logistical details necessary for our ongoing work together.
The first session is an opportunity to lay the foundation for a productive supervision relationship.
