About me and my therapy practice

BSc hons (Psychology), PGDip (Psychotherapeutic Counselling), MBACP (Reg), PGDip (Attachment Based Psychotherapy)

I am an experienced, qualified, and registered Person-centred/Trauma-informed Counsellor. I work holistically, with Individuals.

I have a private practice, as well as working as a lead counsellor across a School Trust, with teenagers and staff.

I am experienced in working with the Criminal Justice System/CPS in pre-trial therapy.

I have worked for several public and private sector organisations, including 3 years as a Psychotherapist for Rape Crisis - supporting children, males/females who experienced recent or historic abuse/rape/violence/trauma.

I currently hold a caseload with a domestic violence counselling service  - supporting male/female clients using short-term models of therapeutic intervention, and also offering longer-term therapy to help alleviate distress.

I value individuality. I recognise that starting therapy can be daunting and my role as a counsellor is to help you feel comfortable enough to talk about things concerning you and to support you in making choices and decisions that are manageable for you. I offer a confidential space to talk about your thoughts and feelings openly. My lived experience has inspired me to support clients to lead more fulfilling lives.
