About me and my therapy practice
In times of adversity when life seems overwhelming and difficult, we need somebody to help us understand what is going on.
I provide a safe and confidential space where we can think about what is happening to you in the present and what has happened to you in the past. What you do, think, and feel are all equally important and worth paying attention to. In our counselling sessions, I will listen to what you say without judgment and consider everything you want to share as meaningful.
Diffculties can arise at any age and I work with anyone over the age of 18.
Practice description
I am a psychodynamic counsellor and work in collaboration with the client to make sense of unconscious processes that might influence our thoughts and behaviours in the present.
I work on a one-to-one basis.
I offer open-ended or time-limited counselling in person or remotely on zoom.
My first session
My first session will be longer than the usual 50 minutes to give us time to get to know each other. You will have a confidential space to present your problem and ask questions before we can decide together what the best way forward might be.
