About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced BACP registered counsellor, and offer both short-term sessions and longer open-ended work.
My therapeutic approach is called person-centred therapy, working from the belief that clients have it within themselves to grow and to change.
I work with a variety of issues, including anxiety, stress, depression, bereavement, overwhelm, loss and relationship difficulties.
I aim to provide a space that is safe, respectful and non-judgemental, where we can explore together your concerns and find a way forward.
Practice description
As a person-centred therapist, I am warm, empathic and calm, offering an environment where a client can discuss what is important to them.
I am there to listen, reflect and explore with insight and compassion. And through building a trusting and honest relationship, we can make sense of any issues or difficulties, enabling understanding and change.
I offer face-to-face sessions in Greenwich (SE10) on Wednesdays and Thursdays, as well as online sessions throughout the week.
I also offer one-off sessions, similar to a drop-in service. Perhaps there's a single issue you'd like to address quickly or maybe you're unsure about committing to long-term therapy. These sessions take place online.
In-person: £70
Online: £55
One-off: £60
My first session
It can feel daunting taking the first step, and so we can arrange an initial free 20-minute telephone or video call. We can talk through what has brought you to counselling, how we can work together and what you'd like to achieve. It's an opportunity to get to know one another and you can ask any questions you might have. There is no obligation to continue after this, but if you'd then like to, we can organise the first session.
