I am a BACP registered humanistic, trauma informed counsellor with experience in working in the NHS with depression, anxiety, bereavement, long term health conditions, chronic pain, self harm, suicidal ideation
Practice description
Working as a humanistic counsellor means that I am directed by you and where you would like the sessions focus to be.
I am a trauma informed counsellor, which means that I am trained to be able to work safely and ethically with trauma. If trauma is present and something which my client wants to work on, I do so at the client's pace using evidence based techniques.
Each session will be a safe and compassionate space for you to unpack whatever you feel is needed. As your counsellor I would be able to assist you in building self esteem, acceptance and awareness.
